yeah.
everything's finally over. not exactly, but at least my H1 is somewhere in august. So i can happily slack off until then. hopefully. monday's a holiday! im so relieved. then tuesday they'll go through the chem paper. Sometimes i really hate teachers you know. for those kind of small tests, they take like eternity to mark them, and when it comes to the BIG tests, they work OT just to give us the papers back asap. Its not as if we're really looking forward to it yeah. anw, back to the main point. This week sucked, totally. Chemistry paper was a total killer. and we thought the
MCQ were additional points we could use to bring our already pathetic score up. By right, we were supposed to spend exactly 1.5 minutes on each question. Easy said, i spent 10 minutes staring at the the first question, before managing to comprehend it. oh well, thats the problem with SA. the lecturers aint that high standard, but they like setting pretty high standard papers. I mean, if they teach well, i dont mind. But we all know some cant teach at all. Especially the experienced one. like coughmrscoughwongcough*winks*. aye, but its all over, isnt it.
oh and then came econs. i was about to give up on the subject already, not until my dad told me he excelled in econs. Apparently he scored like 80+/100 for his MBA economics exam. Thats pretty impressive, i guess. And so the night before the test we had a mini 1-to-1 lecture session. Oh, i swear my dad can be a lecturer.oh, maybe he isnt that good, but its most probably because ive only been exposed to SAJC lecturers. erm. uh-huh, and then elasticity and firms came out. im not really all that confident of scoring well, but like i said, im simply aiming for an S. hopefully an E. that isnt that low to aim for, isnt it. ohkay, i know im really pessimistic, and i have the tendency to calculate how many marks i'd require for an S before the test begins. Yes, id be satisfied with straight S's.
lastly, theres maths. I took the paper this morning, but last night i cant believe i actually stayed up trying to solve this silly APGP question until three-thirty. Ohmy, and my paper starts at eight. Seriously, it wasnt even worth it. Oh, and all that crazy practice and hope i put on mathematical induction. The irritating setter put MI under part (iii), and since i wasnt able to do part (ii), i didnt even get to show off my expertise in MI. yeah, in the end i ended up letter the RHS = x. haha, at least i'll get some method marks, hopefully. ((: For maths, i think its a definite U. 8 questions, i skipped around SIX of them. its game over, i guess.
over the last week of extreme mugging and pressure, i have learnt lots of new stuff. In fact, everything ive learnt about every subject in this week, is like three to four times what ive learnt in my past six months in SAJC. aye, its laughable, but true. Ive got to start studying for promos after my well-deseved break. Seriously, i never expected JC to be this difficult. In the past, if any of you could remember, simply studying before the day of the exam was enough to earn us at least a B3 or B4. This time, its really different. I know.

oh, and i forgot to mention, i just caught TRANSFORMERS : THE MOVIE. pretty good, i would say, but close to three hours of staring at the screen made my eyes super tired and they were all red after the movie. The plot's cool, and the female lead's pretty hot. the technical effects are really nice too, the way they transform into automobiles and back into their robot forms. But the fighting scenes were a little confusing though. Since both the evil and good sides have robots that are silver in color, if they were to clash, its really fast combat. silver appears all over the screen, and you cant differntiate whos actually winning. Maybe its just me. Other than that, its pretty much a nice movie. Worth my money. 4 out of 5 stars.
aye, and ive got to go to work tomorrow. 12-9. you guys can drop by and visit me if you want, cause its gonna be really boring there. haha, yeah. Marina Bay, level 2. Atlantis Co. Come on down. Oh yea, and after work, im gonna catch FANTASTIC FOUR : THE RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER. jessica alba is mad HOTT. oh yeah, i cant wait.
