Life sucks. we all know that.

Like wow.
Its 12.27 now. I'm blogging. What the. Hahas. but its fine. 'cause im not gonna post tomorrow. Yes. I'm dead beat can, just got back from a concert. SAJC's Rapture. Its a dance concert by the way, and i'm not really a dance person. So you see.
The concert was quite a wow for me overall. But the indian dances didn't really get across to me duh`. They give me the impression of those shows you see on suria. Running around the mango or whatever trees you've got in Bollywood. Haha. no pun intended here okay. But i got the impression all right. you might ask, why I was at a SAJC concert, all the more a dance one. I'll explain.
So you see, in around june, the tickets were on sale, and xinyi asked jinyi to help her sell the tickets. Obviously he sold them to us. I ended up buying 1 ticket , with justin and andrew buying 2 more. Haha. Xinyi's performing by the way, and you can't really say you don't want to support a friend's first attempt in a concert? Yea. so i paid. Justin couldn't make it again, and the worst part is jinyi wanted to meet at dhoby gaut, with his friends. So i had to tag along huh. The tickets were with him anyway. Justin's ticket was given to one of jinyi's friends, and i thought at least i've got andrew kwek there at dhoby gaut. What the , andrew kwek said he wanted to sleep, so he'd meet us at city hall at 7.30. I'm already like, die la. All jinyi's friends i don't know, and now this happens.
Reached Dhoby Gaut at 6+, and waited for jinyi. Met up with his friends, and as usual, was being left out of their conversation. I think one was called Raymond, the other i can't remember. I just remebered the other guy as the "Mr anti-social". hahas, im anti-social too, but not to that extent i would safely say. When we reached city hall at 7.10, i met my old classmate. Its like such a small world can. Andrew wong is jinyi's cousin. And he's going for the concert. Haha. Ah. But whatever la. I'm not exactly that close with him anyway.
Were almost late by the time we reached the Esplanade, and jinyi had no time to find out how to pass his flowers to xinyi, yea so he left them at the counter. Poor flowers X). Rushed in to circle 1, den got in just in time, before the concert started. Umm. yea, jinyi was supposed to sit beside xinyi's parents, yea you know the "parent and son-in-law talk" kinda thing. Yea i'm talking cock here. But jinyi ended up beside xinyi's cousins. Hahas. And i thought the cousin looked 15 or 16. Heres the gay part : She's 12. I'm like woah. Don't lie man. But its true la. Quit scary eh.
The concert kicked off with a indian or malay dance, as you call it, and the lights were so glaring we could practically see nothing much, all the more spot xinyi amongst all the dancers. You know, its difficult to see from far, and what makes it worse is that all the dancers look the same. Yes. The hair, the face and everything else. Guess the lights made me blur huh. We waited for like 1hour plus just to catch xinyi in her item, Faded Abyss. Like walau. Anyway, the Esplanade has a state-of-the-art signboards man. They point to no where. The signboard to circle 1 point to the right, but circle one was on the left, and the signboard said food stalls downwards, but when we went down, just a normal gathering area. I don't know if this is art or whatever, i don't really appreciate it. I mean like, if the toilet signs were switched? Yea, you get the idea.
I've not much time now to describe the rest of the performances, but all i can say is i liked the dance scarlet fever the most huh. All the dancers wearing cheongsam and all that, then dancing. Very Chinese. I loved it. Xinyi was in it too. Haha =) Oh there was a dance that made me laugh too. The "Made in Sin" dance. haha. Cheorographed by Zaki i think, and there was this part where everyone pushed a guy and said whyyousolikethatah. Yea. without spacing. They kept repeating, and everyone was laughing. HaHa.
The concert ended at 10.10, and all of us waited for xinyi to come out. Yea, we haven't had dinner, and she most probably hadn't too huh. but you know girls la, they like to go "hey !" to people they know, and then before you know it, its already 10.45. Quite typical, but after the concert mah, its okay to feel elated. Yea. Went to Marina Mac for supper. Surprisingly i was quite full, but that didn't stop me from eating anyway.
We finished at around 11.30 and we rushed back to Esplanade. 'cause there's a route through Esplanade that leads you to City Hall MRT, and wow, we had to rush man. If we missed the last train, good game. Haha. I met my cuz on the way back to Esplanade, and it appeared that she had watched the concert too. So, we rushed off to City Hall, while my cuz took her friend's parent's transport home i presume.
Haha. Jinyi had to send xinyi home, and he managed to coax andrew into following him. Haha. I guess all of us were tired, cause andrew almost fell asleep on the train, and i got close to sleeping too. Reached home at 12.17, took a bath and here i am. I'm dedicated to my blog. Admit it X)
