Woo. prelim 2 is finally here.
1st day of exams. English, followed by science(physics)
Bleah. English was chim. What Cambridge and Oxford thingy. den contradict here contradict there. Until i oso blur liao. hahas. Noob sia. i no time finish summary. actually i finish lar. but last paragraph nv touch @ all. sure lose alot of points de lor. Haiz. how sian can this get man. Last term fail english. this term oso fail. KNN. hahas.

Nice one, physics was okay only lar. juz a few problems. coz for alpha addition to X i put He. is correct la. but Helium normally is 4 and 2 rite? i put plus. haiz. until i come out of exam hall den jin yi tell mi is minus hehe. den beta particle is electron den the subscript is 0 and -1. wahaha. jin yi oso put wrong. he put 0 and +1. LoL. but overall was fine lar. Got this question justin pang n me were argueing throughout. Actually not both of us only lar. is because justin got diff ans frm us mah. den 1 mark he so anxious. LoL. i post e question here bah.
Q : The circuit is connected to a 240V mains. The transformer here is a step down transformer. Assuming that the transformer is 100% efficient, if the output voltage in the secondary coil is 80V, how much is the ratio of the current in the primary coil to the current in the secondary coil?
Okay. my answer was liddat. i worked out. the transformer formula is :
I(p) V(p) = I(s) V(s)
.:. 240 I(p) : 80 I(s)
Ratio of Primary Current : Secondary Current
3 : 1
correct rite? LoL sia. den justin pang came up with another formula. same as mine lar.but altered abit.
Transformer formula :

I(p) V(s)
its correct rite. after u cross-multiply it gives u my formula above. BUT. justin pang got diff way of understanding. and worse of all IT MAKES SENSE. im confused lar. haiz. see ah

I(s) : I(p) = 3 : 1
but they want I(p) : I(s). therefore, is 1:3.
